Summary

Bai Yu finds himself in the Crisis Era, year 3 (2011), just before significant events in the Trisolaran storyline unfold. He witnesses Luo Ji narrowly escape an assassination attempt, thanks to Shi Qiang, but not before Luo Ji's girlfriend tragically dies. Bai Yu observes as Shi Qiang takes Luo Ji to the PDC, where Luo Ji is unexpectedly selected as a Wallfacer. Bai Yu later reveals himself at the PDC, demonstrating his powers by disarming the guards and commanding the members to sit down. He introduces himself and claims he is there to resolve the Trisolaran civilization, intriguing the PDC members, especially Secretary-General Sa Yi.
