Summary

Xing Jue arrives at Bai Fu but is rudely confronted by a muscular guard who mistakes him for a beggar. After a failed attack, Xing Jue demonstrates his martial prowess, injuring the guard and the servants who attack him. The steward of the Bai Family, realizing his mistake, invites Xing Jue inside. He learns that Bai Xiu Xiu, the sister of Bai Yun Fei, has been missing for six months. Following a lead, Xing Jue finds her in a cottage, gravely ill and devastated by her brother's death. A man reveals that Bai Xiu Xiu escaped an assault by the Senior Young Master of the Bai Family, but was left paralyzed after a fall. Fueled by anger, Xing Jue vows to take revenge on those who harmed her.
