Summary

Aoba witnesses the battle in front of the palace gates nearing its end, with the rebels routing the elite Yulong Guards. He decides not to intervene, thinking that as long as Ming Di is alive, there's still a chance for a turnaround. Aoba then visits the severely injured Guo Fanren, who asks him to teach his disciple, Hong Chen Liao, some skills. Aoba agrees and begins to teach Hong Chen Liao, who showcases impressive talent and skills. However, he is still under Aoba's control. Guo Fanren passes away, and Aoba tells Hong Chen Liao that he should understand there's no hatred between him and Guo Fanren. Aoba then takes Hong Chen Liao away, advising him to endure for ten more years before reemerging. Meanwhile, Ming Di faces a dire situation inside the golden hall, and Lin Shaoyu ultimately kills him with a spear. After avenging his brother's death, Lin Shaoyu feels a deep fatigue and recalls the past, realizing that justice is never given by others and that it must be more violent than evil to hold meaning.
