Summary

In a deserted Rakshasa City, soldiers confront the narrator and Blood Bat after discovering a corpse at the city gate. The narrator mocks the leader, leading to a confrontation. Blood Bat easily defeats the guards without killing them. As they enter the city, they notice its desolation and head to the Ice Mansion, where they encounter Liu family guards. Blood Bat handles them effortlessly. Inside a nearby house, the narrator finds Meng Qi, who is overjoyed yet distressed. She warns him about their captured parents and urges him to escape. Despite her dirty appearance, the narrator reassures her of his commitment to rescue her family. They plan to wash her up before facing the danger ahead.
