Summary

In this chapter, Shen Jia Xing expresses disdain for Ke Mei Jun, believing her to be worse than Zhang Yu Mei. He recalls the efforts he made to ensure the health of his frail granddaughter, Jiao Jiao, including sourcing rare medicinal materials. Despite these efforts, Jiao Jiao remains delicate, which heightens his concern for her well-being. Zhang Yu Mei claims that Ke Mei Jun is cruel, prompting Shen Jia Xing to question her credibility. Shen Si Zhi, Shen Jia Xing's son, is reprimanded for his behavior and is subjected to a humorous punishment by Han Qi Xiu, who uses acupuncture to make him behave.
