Summary

In the southern region of Chang'an, Emperor Li Shi Min leads an autumn hunt, showcasing his prowess with a bow and a golden eagle. Accompanied by royal family and ministers, they pursue game while maintaining strict order among the troops. Xie Li, the Khan of the Turks, reflects on his lost power. As the hunt progresses, Li Shi Min successfully shoots a gazelle, but an assassin lurking nearby attempts to strike him with a poisoned arrow. Quick thinking from Li Yu, who spots the glimmer of the arrow, saves the emperor. Chaos ensues as the assassin attacks, prompting Li Yu to alert the guards and protect the emperor.
