Summary

Li Yan Qing and soldiers visit the mansion of Li Ge Lin, the former Tong Pan of Qizhou, where they encounter Li Qing Zhao and her husband, Zhao Ming Cheng. After discussing the recent recapture of Licheng County, Li Yan Qing requests Li Ge Lin to take on the role of county magistrate, but he declines and suggests Zhao Ming Cheng instead. After some persuasion, Zhao Ming Cheng agrees to help manage the county. Li Yan Qing leaves, and Zhao Ming Cheng prepares to take charge. Meanwhile, in Juye County, scout cavalry led by Tang Huai gather intelligence on the enemy, confirming the presence of 8,000 troops under Lin Chong. After successfully capturing and interrogating enemy scouts, Tang Huai executes one out of vengeance and returns to camp with the gathered information.
