Summary

Zhang Ye lies on Rao Ai Min's thigh, feeling her warm skin and the scent of her perfume. Despite being a grown man, he's embarrassed but also comfortable, and eventually falls asleep. Rao Ai Min sits beside him, gently holding his hand and looking at him with a mixture of warmth and annoyance. When Zhang Ye wakes up, he finds himself back in his own bed and is freezing, with a cold compress on his forehead. Rao Ai Min brings him a steaming bowl of plain rice porridge, which he eats reluctantly, but eventually asks for more. Rao Ai Min takes care of him, feeding him and giving him medicine, and Zhang Ye feels grateful but also a bit helpless. As he recovers from his injuries, he becomes more and more dependent on Rao Ai Min, who is strict but caring towards him.
