Summary

Ye Quan returns home to a hostile reception from his mother-in-law, Jiang Hong Xia, who accuses him of infidelity after he had been away for important matters. His wife, Mu Xue, tries to defend him but is caught in the middle of the conflict. Tensions rise when Ye Quan learns that Mu Xue sent away Li Fu, a loyal family friend, to avoid upsetting her mother. After a heated exchange, they reconcile, realizing the misunderstandings. The next day, while practicing martial arts in a park, Ye Quan encounters an elderly man, Qin Guo Sheng, who critiques his technique, hinting at a deeper connection to the military background of the punches Ye Quan is practicing.
