Summary

A massive black flower, resembling a creature, reacts to sounds, particularly targeting Bai Wu Qiu and Gui Bu Gui. As Bai Wu Qiu uses his demonic arts to summon a demon flame, the flower advances, releasing a foul liquid. They realize the flower can locate sounds, so they must remain quiet. Wu Mian, dismissing their caution, confronts the flower and quickly vanishes as it lunges at him. After a tense encounter, he defeats the flower using a dragon scale, exposing a core filled with skulls. The flower, known as the Hungry Ghost Flower or Thousand Petal Black Lady, has a grim history of devouring soldiers. Gui Bu Gui, lacking magical skills, reflects on his past abilities, questioning the presence of such flowers in the Ghost Gate.
