Summary

Liu Xiao Yao and his companions realize they are being hunted by Chu Feng, who is waiting for the effects of their forbidden drug to wear off before attacking. They attempt to escape but are unable to shake him off due to his superior speed. After a prolonged chase, Liu Xiao Yao suggests they split up to increase their chances of survival. However, Song Qing Feng finds himself alone and is relentlessly pursued by Chu Feng, who mocks him throughout the chase. Eventually, the drug's backlash takes a toll on Song Qing Feng, leading him to plead for death as he suffers immensely. Chu Feng, feeling a rare moment of compassion, grants Song Qing Feng's wish by devouring his essence, resulting in his death. Afterward, Chu Feng inquires if Dandan gained power from this act, hoping to make up for lost opportunities to absorb essence from previous battles.
