Summary

In a cave, Shen Lian faces a powerful Xianbei general who retreats after sensing a threat from dark clouds above. Ming Ming, leading the army, uses a "divine tent" to make his troops vanish. The Han soldiers, confused but relieved, celebrate the enemy's retreat. Yan Qing arrives, transforming from a bird and bringing essential supplies, including spirit-level arrows that can significantly enhance the Han's combat capabilities. He explains that they plan to lure the Xianbei king into a trap by feigning surrender, which raises concerns for General Li Ling, who has a past of surrendering to foreign tribes. However, Yan Qing reassures him that this is a strategic move to eliminate the Xianbei threat. Li Ling agrees to join Bai Yu Jing, requesting to bring along a child named Wu Kong. Meanwhile, the Xianbei leader, furious over the failure to conquer the cave, decides to personally intervene after receiving news of the Han's feigned surrender.
