Summary

In Yuan Jin Er's room, Kou Er animatedly recounts an incident involving Young Master Ning, who astounded everyone with his poetry at the Old Rain Tower. Yuan Jin Er speculates that Young Master Ning might become the best in Jiang Ning, despite his status as a merchant family's son-in-law. Nie Yun Zhu reflects on her interactions with Ning, finding him relaxed and nonchalant, yet she yearns to see his true scholarly talent. Meanwhile, Ning Yi, after writing a poem, feels lost as he tries to track a female assassin but decides to let it go.
