Summary

Liu An is severely injured in a battle against a white ape, ultimately losing his head after a powerful attack. His body disintegrates, leaving only a skeleton. Shi Mu, drained of energy after the fight, manages to crawl to the Falling Immortal Platform, where he begins to recover. Following Yan Luo, they traverse a desolate landscape filled with undead creatures that retreat at the sight of her. Yan Luo commands an army of skeletons to guard an altar by a blood-red lake. She performs a ritual with Wu Ye's remains, reviving him with the aid of the lake's water and soul fire. Wu Ye kneels before Yan Luo, ready to cultivate, while she submerges herself in the lake.
