Summary

In a city, a manhole cover erupts, releasing "bone sands" that form a geyser and materialize nine monstrous beings, known as the Nine Wraiths, led by Duo Ling. These entities discuss the presence of interdimensional travelers, intrigued by a sudden arrival of a woman named L2-Xuelan from the Yuan Organization. Xuelan analyzes the Wraiths as data sets, asserting her mission does not conflict with theirs. Duo Ling, recognizing her potential threat, decides to avoid confrontation and instructs the Wraiths to cleanse the city while steering clear of the travelers and Xuelan.
