Summary

In a tense encounter, Xiao Chen and his companions awaken to a threat in the woods. Hong Yi Nü Zi, under the influence of poisonous insects, mistakenly reassures instead of warning. They confront a fearful guard leader at a cave entrance, demanding to see the former Sect Master. Inside, they discover stone halls filled with corpses of past Sect Masters, hinting at a dark ritual involving the "Heavenly Corpse." As they reach a hall, they find Yu Yang Zi, the former Sect Master, bound and tortured, who recognizes Xiao Chen. Despite his weakened state, Yu Yang Zi offers to share knowledge, revealing the Corpse Refining Sect's secrets, but remains cautious about Ye Wu Xin's influence.
