Summary

Zhang Bai Ren seeks to save his mother, who has a hidden injury caused by Liu Tong, a puppet master. Sun Si Miao, a physician, advises Zhang to find Liu Tong for a cure. Despite the risks, Zhang Bai Ren, now a court governor, plans to confront the Southern Celestial Master Dao with imperial authority. Meanwhile, the emperor, Yang Guang, decides to intervene by summoning the Southern Celestial Master Dao for the puppet's return. Liu Tong, realizing the gravity of the situation, is summoned by his sect leader to comply with the emperor's demands, as his past misdeeds come back to haunt him.
