Summary

In the Abyssal Plains, powerful demons engage in blood battles, which are high-stakes contests with significant rewards for winners and losses for losers. Mei Lun contemplates sending Spike as a mercenary but learns that blood battles are not currently happening. He activates his information network and learns about the Divine Arena, where elite warriors compete for rewards and recognition. The Holy Clan discusses Mei Lun's growing strength and decides to involve him in a plan to reclaim the Ge Li Ge Li Fortress from the Divine Machine Sanctuary. Mei Lun agrees to participate, and while preparing, he travels to the Great World of War, where he seeks to enter the God of War Colosseum. Upon arrival, he learns about the arena's rules and receives a God of War badge for Spike, allowing them to participate in battles. They are guided by a boy named John, who explains the arena's structure and the path to becoming true gladiators through consecutive victories.
