Summary

A young centaur, longing for the return of the adults from a raid, spots a distant army approaching and rushes to warn his clan. Initially dismissed by the Clan Chief, the threat becomes real as the army attacks, leading to chaos and despair among the centaurs. The Clan Chief is killed, and the remaining centaurs are unable to defend themselves, succumbing to the onslaught. Meanwhile, Zhu Hao Miao, a commander of the invading forces, expresses reluctance to witness the slaughter, delegating the task to the native warriors. As they plan their next moves, Zhu Hao Miao reveals ambitions to permanently rule the grasslands, hinting at future changes in governance and agriculture.
