Summary

Miao Yi, suspecting danger in the Fire Extreme Palace, hastily prepares an escape by hollowing out the head of a Fire Qilin sculpture to use as a shield. After two days of work, he modifies a chain and climbs to the palace roof, feeling reluctant to leave due to his successful cultivation there. However, seeing the palace in disarray and realizing the extinguished flame lamps have slowed his progress, he decides to flee. He uses the chain to ascend through fire clouds, narrowly escaping the flames. Once outside, he stores the Qilin head for future use and quickly departs to avoid entanglements. Meanwhile, Black Charcoal, a dragon steed, awakens its dormant bloodline and abandons its mundane life, yearning for a more glorious existence alongside powerful cultivators.
