Summary

The protagonist, trapped underground, hears a mysterious wind, hinting at a possible exit. As they move towards the sound, Wu Lao Er awakens, warning about the "Gate of Hell" ahead. Ignoring the warning, the protagonist lights a match, revealing a mass of purple pythons and the corpse, Ge Lao Da, who commands them. In a panic, they flee, realizing Wu Lao Er has abandoned them. Exhausted, the protagonist collapses, only to find the snakes have vanished. Hungry, they eat from their supplies when a noise startles them. Drawing a gun, they accidentally shoot Luo Si Wei, who appears unharmed but bloodied.
