Summary

Yi Fan, a five-and-a-half-year-old boy, discovers a tattered book titled "Fetal Breathing Scripture," which turns out to be a worthless pirated copy filled only with the character "Still." He observes his surroundings and finds another book titled "Talisman," but struggles to understand its content. His master, Dao Wu, enters and scolds him and his senior brother Yi Ming, who is sleeping. Dao Wu teaches Yi Fan about their sect's beginner's mantra and the cultivation stages, expressing hope that Yi Fan can reach the Opening Spirit Realm within a year. After a year of training, Yi Fan has not progressed due to a lack of vital energy, leaving Dao Wu puzzled and concerned about Yi Fan's condition.
