Summary

Yuan and Little Qi navigate through a deep forest, a hill, and a plain to reach a northern cluster of buildings. They camp in the forest, wary of potential beasts attracted by fire. Little Qi, accustomed to wilderness, uses her knowledge to repel insects. After a silent night, Yuan senses an unusual aura to the north. Over two days, they climb a man-made staircase to a barren mountain peak, discovering a dark cave. Despite its ordinary appearance, Yuan feels something is amiss. Exhausted, they decide to rest inside the cave, unaware of what lies ahead.
