Summary

In a tense encounter, Qin Shuang, a sixteen-year-old boy, finds himself ambushed by armed thugs while walking down a desolate road. Despite his initial bravado, he is struck by intense abdominal pain and loses consciousness after being attacked. Upon waking, he realizes the thugs are after a secret treasure he possesses. In a surprising turn, he quickly defeats them and finds little of value among their belongings. He interrogates the scarred thug about a nearby survivor market, but in a fit of rage over the moral decay of their world, he kills the thug. As zombies close in on the scene, Qin Shuang coldly observes the gruesome aftermath.
