Summary

Fu Ling Su reassures her brother Fu Jing Yan, who worries about her, and they return to the Mountain God's Temple. Their mother, Cheng Yun Niang, expresses concern for Fu Ling Su's whereabouts. Fu Ling Su goes out to gather firewood and vegetables for the family. She successfully collects dead trees and yams, returning to find her brother waiting. They bring the items inside, where their father, Fu Ting Jian, initially appears worried but softens upon seeing his children's efforts. He advises them to stay safe at night and appreciates the warmth of the food and water Fu Ling Su provides, which alleviates his pain.
