Summary

Qin Shu feels guilty for injuring a little black snake while shaking branches. She cleans its wounds in a pool, using healing ointment and gold tokens, but realizes they are inadequate for a creature that has endured severe injuries. Despite her efforts, the snake, Xie Shi Yuan, is in a dire state after an ambush during his ascension. He is confused upon waking, finding himself wrapped in cloth and saved by a girl who hasn't begun cultivating. Meanwhile, Qin Shu attempts to cultivate, experiencing strange energy phenomena, leading to a mysterious accumulation of purple energy in her dantian, leaving her both excited and bewildered.
