Chapter 4: Loyal Disciple. [4]
Summary
Elder Pang returned to his seat, followed by Yun Shou Yang and Elder Slim. The Fire Shaman, an old barbarian, joined them by the fire, displaying signs of age and vigilance. Yun Shou Yang initiated the discussion, but the Fire Shaman interrupted, insisting that the Black Wolf be released. Despite Yun Shou Yang's defense of the Black Wolf's importance for the Summoning Spell, the Shaman expressed distrust. The elders were intrigued by the potential benefits of Blood Soul Crystals, but the Shaman demanded a Dark Flame Curse be placed on the Black Wolf to ensure his loyalty. Yun Shou Yang was furious, but Elder Slim and Elder Pang supported the Shaman's request for safety. The Black Wolf volunteered to accept the curse for his master's cause, prompting Yun Shou Yang to acknowledge his bravery. The ceremony began with the Fire Shaman retrieving a flame from the bonfire, reciting an ancient incantation.Full content
