Chapter 4: Enrollment [4]

Summary

Tang Wu Lin's family had breakfast together, and Tang Wu Lin ate a lot, still seeming unsatisfied after finishing. His father, Tang Zi Ran, asked if he was turning his grief into appetite, but Tang Wu Lin didn't understand why he would be grieving. Tang Zi Ran then asked if Tang Wu Lin wanted to join the Soul Scholar class, but warned him that his Martial Soul, Blue Silver Grass, is common and difficult to cultivate. Tang Wu Lin declared that he wanted to join the Soul Scholar class and become a Soul Scholar to earn money and buy his parents food. His parents agreed to support him, but also told him that he could transfer classes if he regretted his decision. The next day, Tang Wu Lin started school at Hongshan Academy and joined the Soul Scholar class. He met his teacher, Lin Xi Meng, and his classmates, who showcased their unique Martial Souls. Tang Wu Lin felt indignant when a chubby boy mocked his Blue Silver Grass, but he clenched his fists and determined to become a Soul Scholar. During the self-introduction, Tang Wu Lin's Martial Soul was met with laughter from his classmates, but Lin Xi Meng explained the classification of Martial Souls and Soul Scholars, which sparked Tang Wu Lin's curiosity and enthusiasm for the profession.
