Summary

In this chapter, Dong Fang Zheng calls in Liu Jun, a man previously crippled by Zhu Si Ya, who is now in a wheelchair. Shen Jiao, Dong Fang Zheng's disciple, is shocked to see him. Liu Jun's uncle, Liu Yao, a powerful military commander, is also present. Dong Fang Zheng discusses plans to visit Kyoto for the anniversary of his master’s passing and seeks Liu Yao's assistance for tickets. Shen Jiao greets Liu Jun, and despite Liu Yao's compliments about her, Dong Fang Zheng's remarks about her abilities are less flattering. During an acupuncture session, Liu Jun becomes increasingly agitated and rude, prompting Liu Yao to reprimand him. Dong Fang Zheng, however, takes pleasure in Liu Jun's discomfort, using acupuncture to inflict pain while preventing him from making any sound. Liu Jun struggles to endure the torment, wanting to prove himself to his uncle. Shen Jiao realizes Dong Fang Zheng is intentionally tormenting Liu Jun, and he offers to help her take revenge against him.
