Summary

The Qing Stone Stronghold, located on Qing Stone Ridge, is home to nearly 500 bandits led by Commander Tao Jun. They have not raided Neihuang County due to its strong local militia but have terrorized nearby villages. When scouts report an approaching troop of about 1,000 men, Tao Jun prepares for defense. Meanwhile, Li Yanqing, leading the official troops, devises a plan to set the mountain on fire, forcing the bandits to flee. As the fire engulfs the stronghold, Tao Jun realizes the dire situation and orders a breakout. However, the bandits face a coordinated attack from Li Yanqing's forces, resulting in chaos. Tao Jun attempts to escape but is ultimately killed by Li Yanqing. The chapter concludes with a massacre of the bandits as Li Yanqing commands no mercy.
