Summary

In this intense narrative, Ran Deng finds himself isolated and despised by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas after manipulating his fellow disciples. Betrayed and cornered, he attempts to use the Spirit Coffin Lamp against the Earth Brute but encounters a mysterious gray shadow. After a brief confrontation, Ran Deng unleashes a powerful light that destroys the shadow and another Overlord. The Bodhi Old Ancestor then confronts Ran Deng, demanding the return of a stolen treasure. Tang San intervenes, suggesting a less violent punishment that would preserve the Buddhist sect's reputation.
