Five Elements Heaven.
Chapter 396: Bitter Stone Seed. [399]
Summary
As they flew over a lava river, Qingfeng, driving a vine cart carrying Yuanxiu, sent onlookers flying but refrained from excessive force out of respect for Ai Hui. The thin elemental energy in the old land made everyone uncomfortable, and Ai Hui noted the old land's population was much larger than the Five Elements Heaven. They realized the elemental energy depletion was faster than expected, prompting Ai Hui to consider the implications for their plans against the blood of the gods. They landed to camp by a stream, where Zhao Bai An caught fish, and Ai Hui reminisced about past experiences. He Xiazi carved a pebble, revealing its unusual hardness, which intrigued Ai Hui and others. Mo Zhong identified the inner cores of the pebbles as "bitter stone seeds," which were historically significant and piqued Ai Hui's curiosity about their uses.Full content
