Summary

Kobayashi and Liu Zi wait outside the forest, monitoring Natsuki Subaru's approach to the Witch Cult. Kobayashi uses his "Long Sight" and "See through" abilities to keep an eye on Subaru, who is fragile despite his bravado. Upon Subaru's contact with the Witch Cult, they realize there are eight members instead of the expected ten. Liu Zi is tasked with eliminating the "fingers" of the Sloth Archbishop, Petirchus. As Subaru engages with Petirchus, Kobayashi intervenes to protect him, delivering a powerful blow to the Archbishop. However, Petirchus, despite being injured, displays his madness and summons his "fingers." Kobayashi counters Petirchus's attacks with her skills, eventually decapitating him. Despite this, Subaru faces possession by Petirchus, but with the help of a necklace from Aqua, he resists the takeover. Kobayashi then uses a purification spell to eliminate the Sloth Archbishop completely.
