Summary

On Zhuque Road in Jiangning, a historical site once vibrant during the Six Dynasties, the remnants of its past glory are overshadowed by time. The Ming Dynasty's Western Factory once stood here, with a painting of Zhong Kui meant to pacify spirits. Now, only remnants of the stone city remain. Li Yun Dao, a young police inspector, arrives at the Jiangnan Provincial Public Security Department, reflecting on his past experiences and the challenges ahead. He meets Chairperson Qin Fen Tao, who acknowledges his promising evaluations from previous superiors. Li Yun Dao is assigned to work with Deputy Director Han Guo Tao, feeling both nervous and hopeful about his new role in the provincial office.
