Summary

In February, as spring arrives, Pei Yanzhi and Ye Gelu discuss their lives post-Chinese New Year. Pei Yanzhi worries about Ye Gelu's safety after a sniper incident aimed at Old Master Chen. Following a disagreement between Su Cui Ping and Huang Yu Mei, Huang Yu Mei decides to sell their home and buy a new apartment in 'Jade City,' along with a car for Ye Gelu as a dowry. Ye Liang Sheng and family visit to discuss the marriage of their children, and Huang Yu Mei agrees to a modest dowry of three thousand dollars and some gold jewelry.
