Summary

Pei Zi Yun, a celestial being, is intrigued by a eunuch's calmness amidst a demonic aura. He hosts a banquet for the eunuch, Liu Fang, who becomes intoxicated and falls asleep on the deck. Upon waking, he is confronted by Pei Zi Yun, who questions him about his background. Liu Fang, feeling threatened, realizes his peril when Pei Zi Yun immobilizes him. Despite Liu Fang's pleas, Pei Zi Yun kills him, claiming it was just a eunuch's death. This act completes a side quest for Pei Zi Yun, who then heads towards a tavern where he encounters another official, Hu Xun Jian. The tension escalates as Pei Zi Yun approaches, leading to a violent confrontation.
