Summary

Tian Lan asks Lu Chen about his feelings, and Lu Chen expresses his skepticism about the Divine Tree of the Demon Sect, believing it to be a myth. Tian Lan reveals that he wants to destroy the Divine Tree and asks for Lu Chen's help in finding the "branches, leaves, and seeds" which are said to be remnants of the Divine Tree. Lu Chen agrees to help, and Tian Lan explains that he has a method to divine the whereabouts of the other divine objects once one is found. Lu Chen is hesitant at first but eventually agrees to help. Tian Lan promises to keep his promise and gives Lu Chen a square iron plate with the character "Tian" inscribed on it, hinting that Lu Chen will inherit the title from him one day.
