Summary

An explosion in Ning Zhou awakens the city as a white flame erupts. Yi Fan stands amidst the chaos, with Song Ren Long injured nearby. The Scholar, also affected, confronts Yi Fan, realizing he has been possessed by a spirit fox. Yi Fan, feeling powerful, suddenly weakens and collapses. The Scholar mocks him before attempting to attack. A newcomer, Wei Da Ye, intervenes, revealing himself unharmed and confronting the Scholar. After a brief struggle, the Scholar escapes as a vengeful spirit. Wei Da Ye then expresses interest in taking Yi Fan as his disciple.
