Summary

In a perilous encounter, Du Yu strikes the Scorpion Lion's heart with his spear, showcasing his immense power as both a scholar and poet. However, despite his efforts, the beast escapes, leaving Du Yu vulnerable in a foggy forest. Just then, an ancient sword, guided by poetry, locates and defeats the Scorpion Lion. Du Yu meets his friend, Pei Shi Si, who skillfully assists him. They discuss the lion's valuable venom and the importance of a hidden treasure, the Thousand-mile River And Mountain Painting. Du Yu feels a sense of urgency about the treasure’s significance, realizing the need for Pei Shi Si's support in this dangerous quest.
