Summary

Jiang Xiao Wei, angered by a kick from Jiang You, confronts him, revealing a rivalry between the two over their differing social standings. Jiang You defends his master Zhou Zheng, whom Jiang Xiao Wei disparages as a loser, unaware of Zhou Zheng's true wealth and status as a collector of valuable antiques. When Jiang Xiao Wei learns Zhou Zheng owns the Twelve Bronze Heads of the Old Summer Palace, he is shocked. The confrontation escalates, leading to Zhou Zheng attacking Jiang Xiao Wei after a derogatory comment about Zhou Zheng's past. Eventually, police intervene, taking Zhou Zheng and Jiang You for questioning, while Jiang Xiao Wei, injured and terrified, calls for help. Zhou Zheng's simple response to the police, "He deserved a beating," encapsulates the tension and conflict between the characters.
