Summary

Fang Shan, after leaving a room, discovers a blood-rusted bronze mirror, which he realizes is a powerful artifact when it causes a fierce ghost to panic and attempt to escape. He uses his blood to activate the mirror, trapping the ghost inside. As they discuss the mirror's origins, Ning Qiushui reveals that there are 17 strange guests in Huang Hun Town, not 16, leading to tension with Hong You, who feels betrayed. Ning Qiushui insists he hasn't harmed her, explaining that his actions were meant to protect her. Despite her anger, he convinces her to stay and listen, suggesting that working with him may be her best chance for survival.
