Summary

Li Yan Qing returns to Baoyanzhai headquarters, where he meets his father, Li Da Qi, and two guests, Tang Zheng Zong and Wang Bao Ju. They discuss the upcoming martial arts examination for their sons. Li Da Qi expresses concern over Li Yan Qing's new military assignment, hoping he would settle into a stable civil position instead. Despite his father's objections, Li Yan Qing insists on going to war for potential military achievements. They reach a compromise where Li Da Qi agrees to help open a Baoyanzhai branch in Xucheng. Meanwhile, Zheng Rong Tai visits the Crown Prince, who expresses interest in meeting Li Yan Qing. After running into Zheng Rong Tai, Li Yan Qing learns about the Crown Prince's invitation but realizes he must leave for military duties before the meeting. He decides to inform the Crown Prince of his situation and hopes to meet after his return.
