Summary

Lin Chen confronts a lean man from the Twilight Council, seeking information about their mission related to an ancient elven blood pool beneath the Tong Tian Cave. Sensing deception, Lin Chen brutally injures the man to extract the truth. Before the man can reveal more, he detonates his own head to prevent Lin Chen from reading his memories. Lin Chen realizes the explosion came from within the man's consciousness and suspects a black mist involved. Afterward, Lin Chen communicates with the World Tree to control a powerful armored mad rhinoceros and plans to analyze a diamond-shaped device for technological insights. As Lin Chen exits the New World, he and his companions face a collapsing platform but are saved by their dragons. They discover a vast blood-red lake, which Lin Chen identifies as containing elven blood, hinting at experiments and the interest of dark organizations in the area.
