Chapter 385: I'm Quite Skilled at Stirring Up Trouble [384]
Summary
Gu Xi Zhi woke up to find her cousin, Gu Jiang Min, chatting with the old lady in the tea room. She got up to see him but found that her dog, Little Huang, had taken one of her shoes. She chased after the dog, pretending to be desperate for the shoe, and eventually caught up to it, hugging it tightly and giving it a good rub. After settling the dog, Gu Xi Zhi walked into the tea room, where the old lady was questioning Gu Jiang Min about his sudden retirement from racing. Gu Xi Zhi sat down beside the old lady, curious about Gu Jiang Min's answer. Gu Jiang Min explained that he had decided to retire early because he was already thirty years old and felt pressure to start a family, but he didn't want his partner to worry about his safety as a race car driver. Gu Xi Zhi, however, seemed skeptical of Gu Jiang Min's excuse, remembering that he was a staunch advocate of not getting married. She mischievously suggested to the old lady that she should arrange blind dates for Gu Jiang Min, even joking that ten blind dates a day would be suitable.Full content
