Summary

In the summer of the 1st year of Han Yuande, the ministers of Wei Man's Joseon faced the wrath of Cheng Wang, the Eastern Commandant of Liaodong County. Following the execution of several Han officials, the young emperor of Chang'an demanded accountability for the killing of Han citizens. Wei Zhun, the king of Joseon, attempted to appease Cheng Wang by blaming a subordinate and offering compensation. However, Cheng Wang saw this as an opportunity to rise in rank by provoking war with Joseon, aiming for military merit that could lead to a marquis title.
