Summary

Old Ma and Lu Chen reminisce about a black dog named A Tu, which Lu Chen still has but keeps outside the village due to its size. Old Ma excitedly shares that he received a message from Lord Zhenjun, who wishes to meet Lu Chen but is busy in the Immortal City. They prepare to travel there, and on the way, A Tu unexpectedly appears, now much larger and unrecognizing Old Ma. As they pass Nan Song Mountain, they discuss the local cultivation sect, Qian Qiu Men, and its deceptive practices. Old Ma warns Lu Chen about a new rule in the Immortal City prohibiting dogs, enacted by Lord Tie Hu, which could pose a problem for A Tu. Lu Chen reflects on the situation, considering the implications of such a harsh rule.
