Summary

Li Ping Er anxiously awaited Xi Men Qing, feeling increasingly ill. After he left abruptly one morning, she grew weak and bedridden. Feng Mama suggested calling doctor Jiang Zhu Shan, who diagnosed her illness as stemming from emotional distress. After receiving his treatment, Li Ping Er recovered and invited Jiang Zhu Shan to thank him. Their conversation led to her revealing her loneliness and past engagement to Xi Men Qing, whom Jiang Zhu Shan disparaged. Eventually, they decided to marry, with Li Ping Er offering to make him a live-in husband. They celebrated their engagement, while she pondered the potential dangers of her previous betrothal.
