The Heroic Journey Across the World.

Chapter 38: Joining the Group and Wrapping Up (Requesting Monthly Votes). [188]

Summary

Hao Qi, Zhang Heng, and Lan Ling’er fled to avoid both Pu Zhi and the Watchers Alliance, which had gained notoriety after Pu Zhi's trial for harboring criminals linked to the Shadow of the Blue Sea pirate group. Pu Zhi was sentenced to a hundred years of exile and shocked many by confessing during the trial. The Watchers, having solidified their power, aimed to unite various factions to support the weak against noble families, preventing future crises. Despite this, Hao Qi had no intention of leading the Watchers; he sought adventure across the Seven Seas instead. As they camped in the wilderness, a humorous conflict arose between Hao Qi and Pu Zhi over Ling’er, culminating in Hao Qi insisting they head to the northern Blue Sea to confront colluding noble families. The group's dynamic was set to evolve as they prepared for their next journey.
