Chapter 38: Heart Demon. [39]
Summary
Shi Xue Man returned to her family's dojo and inquired about the Bing Feng dojo, which Yong Zheng claimed didn't exist in Song Jian City. However, after further investigation, Yong Zheng discovered that the Bing Feng dojo had been closed for a long time but was recently reopened by a student. Shi Xue Man decided to visit the dojo, despite Yong Zheng's concerns, as she had offered her grandmother's memento, the Ding Xin Pei Lan, as collateral. The Ding Xin Pei Lan was a rare and precious pearl that brought peace to one's mind and was beneficial for cultivation. Meanwhile, Duanmu Huang Hun returned to his residence, exhausted from the celebration. He couldn't sleep, as the scene of him falling at the city gate kept replaying in his mind. He became angry, thinking about Ai Hui, and recalled the concept of heart demons. Duanmu Huang Hun believed that Ai Hui's voice was his heart demon, which affected his cultivation. He decided to "slay" his heart demon by releasing his anger and making Ai Hui experience the same humiliation he had suffered. Duanmu Huang Hun thought of a plan to make Ai Hui catch a cold, cure him using the same methods Ai Hui had used before, and make him experience a swollen face and a tumble. Duanmu Huang Hun's Intelligence was in a state of frenzy, and he couldn't feel any physical fatigue. He put on a Zhang Yuan energy mask and was eager to execute his plan. Shi Xue Man, on the other hand, was unaware of the potential danger and was focused on resolving the issue with the Bing Feng dojo. The situation was tense, with Duanmu Huang Hun seeking revenge and Shi Xue Man trying to protect her grandmother's memento.Full content
