Summary

Xu Yang Yi finds himself in a strange black-and-white space, where he encounters the Boundary Spirit, who reveals a past encounter with a powerful demon resembling a butterfly. This demon, identified as Nan Hua Die Mu, is one of the Eight Great Demon Kings. The Boundary Spirit indicates that Xu Yang Yi and another cultivator are the strongest in this realm, but the other cannot see the spirit. As Xu Yang Yi seeks a way out, he is warned by Zhao Zi Qi, who has awakened, that the Boundary Spirit has ill intentions. They discuss the dangerous location the spirit wants him to visit, leading them to the Sky Burial Festival, a dark event commemorating the deceased, filled with coffins and a crowd of mourners.
